To celebrate the end of the year, The Daily Post has asked us bloggers to share the most meaningful photo(s) we’ve taken in 2017.
This year I spent a lot of time asking my cellphone, “Why can’t you take better pictures?” But sometimes it surprised me by doing a pretty good job, so I’d say my favourite photos of 2017 are these ones.
They’re photos where I thought, “Well done, little cellphone… well done.” And they did justice to a place that’s very meaningful to me – Dallas Road in Victoria, BC.
When I feel like I need my spirits lifted and my creativity sparked, a walk down there usually does the trick. I just wish there were a way to communicate the smell of fresh ocean air too!
