It’s been way too long since I took a walk with my camera. So Saturday was the day!
Victoria, BC, is a magical place this time of year, as it is any time of year. My husband and I cleared our schedule so we could pop downtown and enjoy the beautiful Christmas lights. Here are some of the sights we saw.
As the sun started to set, we made our way down Government Street and took photos of the harbour.
And back at the BC Parliament Buildings, the sky was darkening quickly, making the lights twinkle brightly.
And we managed to catch a glimpse of a horse-drawn carriage travelling down the road.
As we headed back to the car, we caught another view of the magical display.
Next time, a visit to Rogers’ Chocolates is in order, because I just found out they have dark chocolate peanut butter creams… and a beautiful Christmas window display.
Until then, have a wonderful holiday season, dear readers! I’m linking this post with Jo’s Monday Walk – This week she’s in Spain, visiting the monastery at La Rábida and the Muelle de las Carabelas. Take a walk with her to see some beautiful sights and fascinating history!
Magical indeed! I’ve heard it said the BC is one of the prettiest places in North America.

I’m a little biased, but I’d definitely say it’s one of the prettiest places. 🙂 Vancouver is quite a breathtaking city too.
